Hello, fellow Herodotusians!

Dear Herodotus Society members,

I would like to say first what an honor it is to have been made your society president--this is a position I take to heart. Through the next few months, we will be having guest lectures, student presentations, possibly interesting videos, a couple of fieldtrips, and hopefully some fundraisers. This blog and your emails will be the manner in which I will most easily be able to update you on happenings with the society. Tomorrow I will post fieldtrip ideas for us, as well as several history papers I have written throughout college. I will also try to link some recent news in historical fields to this blog, so you can keep up with current research, finds, archaeological discoveries, etc. If you have suggestions for things to add to this blog--such as a history Q & A section, suggestion area, ect.--or for things we should do at our meetings, please let Dr. Wineland, Brian Neyhart, or myself and we see what we can do. We are in existence as a society to uplift one another in our mutual interest in history. Let us care for one another as we look to the past to help us move forward.
