Hello fellow society members!
Well, I discovered I am not able to post documents on this blog, so there will be no papers up here. However, I have some mucho exciting news: the Herodotus Society is in the process of being added to Sakai, meaning that we can post whatever we want, anyone can ask and respond to questions in a forum, there will be a calendar of events, and our constitution and purpose statement will be available for all members. This may take a week or two to be put up, but most likely by Fall Break we will have a tremendous webpage for our group!
In other news, I have booked a speaker for us for sometime in November: Dr. Brendan Haynie will be presenting on the History of Science, a field which he is interested in. You will be notified of further developments, hopefully by our new webpage!
