Tips for Citing Your Work



Greetings,


Most History Department use the Chicago Manual of Style also known as Turabian Style. It uses footnotes to document sources. This is the style which I prefer. I require this style in my upper level history courses and I review it in the Senior Seminar class.

There are several online sources which can help you understand the style but I have found these to be most helpful:
